How to: Activate or deactivate Smart Cut and Paste.
Solution:
Select 'Options...' from the 'Tools' menu, and select or clear the 'Use Smart Cut and Paste' check box.
NOTE: With the 'Smart Cut and Paste' feature enabled, extra spaces between words are automatically added, and extra spaces at the end of sentences are automatically deleted. Therefore, the user does not have to worry about adding or deleting spaces when pasting cut selections.
1) Select the 'Tools' menu and select 'Options...'. (The Options dialog box appears.)
2) Click the 'Edit' tab.
3) Do one of the following in the 'Editing Options' group:
a) To activate Smart Cut and Paste, select the 'Use Smart Cut and Paste' check box.
NOTE: If it is already checked, do NOT clear the check box.
b) To deactivate Smart Cut and Paste, clear the 'Use Smart Cut and Paste' check box.
4) Click 'OK'.
